CEBU Parklane International Hotel (CPIH) proudly announced the return of Hunat Sugbu, an annual fun run that has become one of the most highly anticipated events in Cebu. This year’s run holds a special significance as it marks the event’s 10th anniversary, aptly named Hunat Sugbu X.

The fun run will take place on June 18, 2023. Landers Cebu has partnered with them this year and will provide support throughout the event.

Hunat Sugbu has grown exponentially since its inauguration as a commemorative event honoring Parklane’s late president, Manuel G. Ting, from 300 runners in its first year to approximately 2,500 registrants in 2019. It has become a unifying force in the Cebu community, bringing together people from all walks of life in a fun and socially conscious way.

This year’s event not only promotes wellness but also gives back to the community. As part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, proceeds from the fun run will be donated to a medical mission.

There will be Four Race Categories: 3k, 6k, 12k, and 21k. When participants cross the finish line, they will be treated to a meal, as well as giveaways and raffle prizes. All runners will be adequately hydrated by the various CPIH departments that will staff water stations.
