A GRADUATE of Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) in Davao City tops sixth in the March 2023 Physicians Licensure Examination as per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on March 16.
Psylah Trisha Caminos earned a rating of 87.08 percent. She is the only graduate from a Davao school on the list of the top 13 examinees who garnered the top ten highest places.
Her alma mater, DMSF, garnered a passing rate of 71.01 percent wherein 49 passed out of the total 69 examinees.
Brokenshire College in Davao City and Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City also performed with flying colors.
Brokenshire College had a passing rate of 66.67 percent with six passers out of nine takers while MSU garnered 55 percent passing rate with 11 passers out of 20 total examinees.
Meanwhile, the examinee with the highest score during the licensure examination was Aira Castro from Mariano Marcos State University in Batac City with a rating of 89 percent.
The University of Santo Tomas is also the only top-performing school with 50 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing rate. UST earned 83.61 percent with 51 passers out 61 total takers.
Overall, 1,573 takers passed out of the total 2,887 examinees. ICM
