IN celebration of the 25th Kadalag-an Festival, the City Legal Office organized Libre Konsulta Legal, a free legal consultation activity, at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center on March 17.
The City Legal Office partnered with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Negros Occidental Chapter, the University of St. La Salle Bacolod College of Law, and the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos College of Law for the realization of the said activity.
60 Victoriahanon clients from marginalized community sectors received free legal assistance from volunteer lawyers during the activity.
City Legal Officer Atty. Meddie Arbolado Jr. spearheaded the event.
