”We are so thankful to Ms. Kuh kasi nag-adjust siya ng kanyang talent fee. This is a fund-raising concert for the benefit of the 45 PNP Region 7 personnel who have been undergoing chemotherapy and renal failure treatments,” matod ni Lim.
Si Kuh nga nailang Barbra Streisand of the Philippines nisikat sa iyang OPM hits nga “Dito Ba?”, “I Think I’m In Love”, “A Long Long Time Ago”, “One More Try” ug ang grand prize winning song niyang “Till I Met You” sa 6th Metro Manila Popular Music Festival niadtong 1983.
”I’m sure Kuh is going to include her classic hits in her repertoire because we all know how Cebuanos love her iconic songs,” ni Lim nga lumad nga taga-Zamboanga apan sa Cebu na nanimuyo uban sa mga anak ug kapikas nga si Police Colonel Elmer Lim, city director sa Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
”OLC has been existing since time immemorial. Our charitable activities include feeding programs and school supplies distribution. The Amore Concert is, so far, our biggest undertaking,’” dugang ni Lim nga kanhi beauty queen.
“As wives of PNP, we are here to support our husbands and contribute in any way we can. Majority of the proceeds will really go to the charity. And if this show succeeds, then we might also bring this to Manila.”
