Eugenio: Grounded

Eugenio: Grounded

I came across an interesting idea while browsing the internet one day. It spoke on the rift of ideas and beliefs between upper-, middle- and lower-income families. It discussed how the thoughts seemed to be less grounded and disconnected to struggles of people the higher one’s family income is. As it is one of my life goals to help and connect to people of all upbringings, understanding why this is important to not only me, but for others as well.

Perhaps it isn’t a matter of the financial situation one is in when growing up, but actually one’s Heaven Luck. Heaven Luck is one of the factors of Human success that deal with one’s innate characteristic. It can simply be one’s nature that one is optimistic or self-centered which could cause a disconnect between people of different upbringings. However, everyone is formed by their environment and perhaps its impact is greater than what one may seem.

One’s environment plays a role in our development as people. The energy of an Environment is also called Earth Luck, another factor of Human Success. Oftentimes, the energy of one’s environment would encourage a more lofty and ambitious person which is a good thing, but it may cause a disconnect to the realities of life. Though the environment may cause one to be unaware and insensitive to the plight of others, it is with one’s hand that creates the balance.

While it is true that our Heaven and Earth Luck may dictate who we are, our Man Luck, which is our hard work and the last factor of Human Success, is what makes or breaks us. Though we were all raised differently, it should not get in between creating connections with people. If connecting or relating to those with vastly different lives is difficult, simply by conversing and meeting those is a good way to start understanding. Though it may be difficult, to see eye to eye is achievable with empathy, hard work and compassion.

It is good to remember that the realities exist for different people. Though the realities of two different people are never the same, not one existence triumphs over the rest. Though we live various unique lives, connection is not impossible. As growth is the goal of everyone, with assistance and learnings from those we have connected with, working together for the advancement of all would not be out of reach. Though one may never understand the lives others have lived, our desire to understand and love despite it is our form of unconditional love.
