Aeta scholars get help from Capitol

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Some 116 Aeta scholars received financial support from the provincial government of Pampanga on Monday, March 27.

This is part of the government’s support to the educational needs of indigenous people.

Governor Dennis Pineda led the distribution of P5,000 and P10,000 educational assistance to the Aeta student beneficiaries.

The students also received hygiene kits given by the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD).

The Aeta scholars are taking up Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Hospital Management, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Radiology, Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, Technical Livelihood Education, and Bachelor in Secondary Education.

Pineda said the provincial government will continue the educational program for the Aeta children and youth.
