FILIPINO celebrity make-up artist Roi Santos, a soaring star in the glamour industry, visited Bacolod City and met local artist Jojo Vito, whose craft correlated with his love for vibrant colors.
He visited Vito’s art gallery along with his partner, George Gonzalez, and Bimby Macbs Compio and was amazed by the talents and passion of the local artist for art.
He showed his gratitude to Vito for being gracious in welcoming them to his art gallery, which is filled with multi-colored smiling masks of varied designs and styles.
Many people come to his art gallery, including famous personalities who brought with them some masks as souvenirs from Bacolod’s famous MassKara Festival.
Roi, as a return for a good gesture and hospitality, shared with Vito a copy of his book, "A life in a live canvas."
Roi, aside from being a book author, is into speaking engagements with the Cosmetology School, giving them insights, lectures, and tutorials, and is a special effects make-up artist.
He is channeling beauty through freelance work for supplementary clients.

His toil as a victim of bullying in middle school because of cystic acne prompted him to sift for a remedy for his skin malady—makeup. While digging through various shades of concealers and foundations to coat his blemishes, Roi unearthed the essence of makeup that characterized his confidence and craftsmanship.
