1st CMO Battalion gets new commander

ZAMBOANGA. The Army’s 1st Infantry Division (ID) initiates changes last weekend in the leadership of the 1st Civil-Military Operations Battalion (1CMOBn). THE Army’s 1st Infantry Division (ID) has initiated changes last weekend in the leadership of the 1st Civil-Military Operations Battalion (1CMOBn).

Installed as the new 1CMOBn commander is Lieutenant Colonel Abdurasad Sirajan who replaced Colonel Abdelhalim Sakilan, who will now proceed to a higher position.

Prior to his new position, Sirajan served as the Chief of Public Information Office of Western Mindnao Command (Westmincom).

Sirajan is a member of the Officer Candidate Course class of 1998.

Sirajan expressed his gratitude to the command for considering him as the commanding officer of 1CMOBn.

Meanwhile, Major General Antonio Nafarrete congratulated both Sirajan and Sakilan.

He also thanked Sakilan for his unwavering support in all 1ID initiatives, as well as his dedication to obediently supporting and acquiring what is asked of them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
