SANTO TOMAS More than 500 college students in this municipality received financial assistance on Friday, March 31.
This is under the scholarship program of Fourth District Representative Anna York Bondoc in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD.
Each student received P5,000 during the event.
Bondoc said she is giving priority to the students as they are also among the groups hardly hit during the pandemic.
Bondoc reminded parents and students to use the cash assistance wisely.
Mayor John Sambo thanked Bondoc for her support to Sto. Tomas students.
