THE Tangub Christian Academy (TCA) recently held an arts exhibit on the work of its students.

The aim of the exhibit was not only to develop or explore the creativity of students and teachers, but also their sense of responsibility.

In the display area, the assigned students explained the crafts and how they were made, testing their speaking and storytelling abilities.

It was also this year that the school had a costume day, where students and teachers donned costumes from the Bible and other stories.

Pupils from Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School also visited the exhibit for two consecutive days.

They had nothing but positive feedback on the exhibit, as they enjoyed not just the displays but also the performances of the elementary pupils and some candies that they did not expect.

Grade 6 pupils of Darlene Carey Academy in Talisay City also came to visit, with Pastor Rey John Vallejera and wife Radarlyn.

After watching the performances, they, in turn, did an action song number to the delight of everyone.

One can also buy paintings or any art craft on display.

Meanwhile, the exhibit started with Dr. Cris Diego, the TCA principal, who enhanced a painting given to her by her former students.

This is also the time when she started to paint.

When she had accumulated enough paintings, she encouraged other high school students to paint. Their first art exhibit featured the paintings of Dr. Diego and the students. (Maribeth Navarro)
