After UK, firm chooses PH as new acquisition market

TREVOLUTION Group, the travel arm of Dyninno Group of Companies, announced it will now start issuing tickets in the Philippines.

This was after it chose the country as its new acquisition market after the United Kingdom. In the Philippines, airline tickets are to be issued under the brands Asaptickets and Skyluxtravel.

According to Peter Vazan, chief executive officer of ITN, part of Trevolution Group, the Philippines is the fourth country, where the company has received International Air Transport Association accreditation after the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

“The new acquisition markets will give us a sales boost -- once the operations are started, we expect to serve more than 50,000 passengers during the first year alone,” he said in a statement.

Trevolution Group, which incorporates the travel businesses of the Dyninno Group of companies, has been operating in the Philippines since 2012.

Currently, there are over 1,000 employees, most of whom focus on providing a service for the travel businesses of the Dyninno Group: Asaptickets, Skyluxtravel and other travel brands.

In 2022, Trevolution Group sold more than 140,000 tickets for travel between the United States and the Philippines.

According to Trevolution Group research, most passengers traveled to the Philippines from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Honolulu and Chicago.

In 2022, the top countries, to which flights were booked by Trevolution customers, are the Philippines, India, Nigeria, Italy and Pakistan. Compared to the year 2021, sales to the Philippines have grown four to five times.

Banking on the Philippines’ target of five million foreign tourists this year, Trevolution Group said it has been leveraging its marketing capabilities to promote the Philippines as a tourist destination.

“There is immense scope in the Philippines for tourism development and Trevolution Group is elated to contribute to the national goal of increasing tourist arrivals in the country,” the company said.

Trevolution Group, which incorporates travel business in 50 countries globally, focuses on agency sales of airline tickets and travel services to both retail and corporate clients.

Over 70,000 airline tickets and vacation packages are sold by Trevolution monthly, which makes it the fifth-largest travel consolidator in the US. (KOC)
