AT LEAST two high-value individuals were arrested during the Synchronized Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (Sacleo) in Naga City, southern Cebu on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
First to be arrested at 7:30 p.m. was Laurencio Algoso Navales alias Jay-r, 37, a resident of Sitio Mangkikis, Barangay Tangke, of the said city.
Navales yielded P41,616 worth of illegal drugs.
Later at 8:30 p.m., a certain Edwin Deladia Beretria alias Baki, 29, married, from Barangay Cantabaco, Toledo City, was apprehended after he handed over P200 worth of illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer.
Seized from him were five packs and a medium pack of alleged shabu worth P39,440 and his motorcycle.
Lieutenant Colonel William Homoc, chief of Naga City Police Station, headed the operation with the city’s Drugs Enforcement Unit.
Prior to the drug raid, Beretria was placed under surveillance for allegedly supplying illicit substances to Naga City. (GPL, TPT)
