Acclaimed and award-winning Cantonese restaurant Mott 32 opened its first Philippine outlet at NUSTAR Resort and Casino, at Cebu’s fastest-emerging urban development area: South Road Properties.
Since its celebrated inauguration in 2022, Mott 32 continues to dominate the international culinary scene, with its unequalled ethical sourcing by using organic and sustainable ingredients. By working closely with farms, they are assured of an uncompromising quality of their cuisine.
Continuing its various innovations, Mott 32 now has another treat up its sleeves. Starting April, from Thursday to Sunday, the restaurant focuses on lunch offerings from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For four days a week, savor a luxurious experience on a menu that features modern HongKong culture with influences from Szechuan and Beijing.
We are featuring some of these extraordinarily tempting dishes in our column today. Do drop by and taste and feel the Mott 32 vibe, just as some of Manila’s press personalities did during the launch when the entire area was blocked off for the well-attended event.
And how can we ever mention Mott 32, without introducing its highly respected and well-known group Chinese executive chef Lee Man Sing, who jetted in from Hong Kong just to create the menu that day! His impressive track record reads thus: Chef Lee graduated from the Chinese Culinary Institute with Distinction while attending the exclusive Master Chef Level class. Prior to earning his first Michelin-star for Mandarin Oriental, Chef Lee cooked for celebrities, international Heads of State and government officials.
With his wealth of knowledge and experience, Chef Lee believes in using the freshest seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes with hints of modern flair in presentation. This was selectively obvious that day!
As the guests feasted on exquisitely prepared menus, we counted a number of NUSTAR VIPs among the crowd, lending the event an air of sophistication: Paolo Campillo, general manager of NUSTAR Resort and Casino; and Jun Cordova, director of sales and marketing.
