I asked Chat GPT to create an opinion piece about Artificial Intelligence replacing writers like me. Here’s how it did:

Not bad. Maybe I can actually be replaced by an AI. Could I?
LOL (laugh out loud). Of course not! That wasn’t even written as a column. It was written as a speech because no matter how I teach it, Chat GPT just couldn’t write a column in my style.
While Chat GPT is a great tool for research, organization and idea prompts, it will remain just that, a tool.
Google never replaced actual researchers on the field, only amplified their work. Photoshop never replaced photographers or artists, only provided a digital platform. Chat GPT will never actually replace writers, too, just a tool to help organize these jumble words in our heads.
Am I scared? Should we be scared as writers? LOL. Of course not.
