Renovation of Victorias public market, city hall completed

VICTORIAS City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez said the renovation of some parts of its public market and city hall have been completed.

Benitez said among those renovated at the city hall are the conference room, the courtesy call room, the office of the City Bids and Awards Committee, the mayor's office and the comfort rooms which are all worth P5.2 million.

Benitez also said that the renovation of the city public market is also completed, which is worth P8 million.

He said that these are part of the projects that he has been implementing in the city since he started his administration and that more projects are coming for a brighter future of Victoriahanons.

Meanwhile, Benitez signed a Memorandum of Agreement between Victorias City and GCash for a mobile payment service in launching the Digital Service Payment Acceptance.

Victoriahanons can now pay their taxes and other government payments through GCash, Benitez said.

Victorias City is the first local government unit to sign a memorandum of agreement with GCash in the whole of Region 6.*
