CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The SM City San Fernando Downtown’s Roofdeck area transformed into an open-space concert place as it welcomed back Castaway Music Festival.
The Castaway at SM City San Fernando Downtown returned with its signature “chill and sing-along under the stars” vibe.
Joee Sibal, SM City San Fernando Downtown Tenant Relations Manager, said some 3,000 people joined the comeback of the homegrown music festival in the said mall.
“The return of Castaway Music Festival in San Fernando Downtown is part of our mall’s efforts to uplift the spirit of the community as we continue to recover from the pandemic,” said Sibal.
This year’s line-up for Castaway at SM City San Fernando Downtown included artist Will Mikhael, and band Quaderno, and OPM icon Orange and Lemons.
The line-up of artists performed a mix of local and foreign songs.
The artists thanked SM Supermalls for its continuous support to the local music industry through the event.
“It is truly a big help to be given this platform and to perform for Kapampangan crowd especially that the music festival scenes are still recovering, said Mikhael.
