KAGAY-ANONS have a new Instagrammable spot as SM CDO Downtown Premier recently lit up its newest icon: The Colorful Dandelions.
The Colorful Dandelions is an installation of huge dandelions sparkling in different colors located in the mall's Sky Garden at the fifth floor. Photography enthusiasts can play with the colors of the sunset, flora and the panoramic vista of downtown CDO to capture creative photos.
The installation is a new addition to shoppers and mall goers' favorite SM hangout, as well as a more memorable way to spend quality time with friends, family and loved ones.
According to Lovelle See, the mall manager of SM CDO Downtown Premier, the icon represents the people's efforts in bouncing back from the challenges brought by the pandemic.
"We have been challenged when the pandemic came as a surprise but nevertheless, we remain strong and continue to be hopeful in bouncing back," See said.
She further said that the icon symbolizes hope, growth and rebirth.
"Just like how we have a fresh start amidst the pandemic," she added.
As part of its 6th anniversary celebration, SM CDO Downtown Premier unveiled its "Downtown Blooms," which features The Colorful Dandelions and the Floral Wall, another photo-worthy spot located at the mall's fifth floor. (SunStar Cagayan de Oro)
