TWO suspected carnappers were arrested by operatives of Police Station 8 at the runway of the old airport in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City on Tuesday, May 23.

He said the victim forgot to remove the key from his motorcycle and when he entered their house, the suspects, who happened to be in the area, drove the motorcycle towards the runway of the old airport.

He added the suspects were identified by the bystanders in the area.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession a Honda Click motorcycle owned by the victim.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 8 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10883 or the Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.*
