FOUR persons landed at the Abellana Police Station 2 detention cell around 3 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2023, after having a fight in one of the bars in Mango Avenue, Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City.
They were Brando Villacorta, 20, from Dosdos Village, Barangay Tisa; Junry Algarme Minor, 20; Kintwell Payusan Cartilla, 20; and Aldrin Cala Sabal, 22, all of Sitio Jorge, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
Corporal John Cylde Pelandas, Patrolman Jojiet Mendez, and Patrolman Efril John Dador responded to the alarm and arrested the suspects.
Police Colonel Ireneo Dalogdog, head of the Cebu City Police Office, said that a brawl broke out between the groups after one of them offered another a bottle of beer, which the latter did not like.
The four had already agreed to settle the matter but their suffering is not yet over after the police decided to file charges against them. (BBT/TPT)
