BUREAU of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel have arrested a fertilized duck eggs vendor while trying to smuggle shabu into a detention facility in Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Monday, May 29, 2023.
The Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office identified the arrested suspect as Flordeliz Castro Panong, 56, a resident of Purok Mangga in Tuburan village, Pagadian City.
The police said the suspect was arrested around 12:42 p.m. at the BJMP-administered detention facility in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.
The police said Panong was delivering clothes to his son at the detention facility when BJMP personnel arrested her after they found during an inspection some .19 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,292 packed in a small-sized plastic sachet in her pocket.
The suspect was placed under the custody of Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
