CITY OF SAN FERNANDO —The active coronavirus cases in Pampanga reached 271, according to the latest bulletin of the Department of Health DOH virus tracker.
The health agency recorded 16 new cases recorded as of May 30.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the province since the start of the pandemic to 98,242. Out of these number, 95, 980 patients recovered from the virus.
The total number of casualties from the pandemic from the last three-year record is at 1,991 cases.
In the last 14 days alone, Pampanga has recorded some 436 active cases.
The rate of bed occupancy for coronavirus cases in the 53 hospital facilities in Pampanga has now reached 9.7 percent.
This means that some 65 hospital beds are currently occupied among the 670 available beds in Pampanga hospitals.
Some 41 health facilities are currently at low risk in terms of bed occupancy rate. One is currently at high risk while another is at critical risk.
