BACOLOD City Police Office (BCPO) Acting Director Colonel Noel Aliño has implemented a minor reshuffling at the BCPO that affected four police station commanders effective Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Aliño said Major Nestor Bacuyag, spokesperson of BCPO, was reassigned to Police Station 4 and occupied the post of Captain Greeky Cayao, who was also reassigned to BCPO.

He said the police officials who just finished their schooling include Captain Paul Vincent Pendon, Captain Andy Ofalia, and Melvin Mercado, were also assigned as the new station commanders.

Pendon was assigned to Police Station 2 and replaced the post of commander, Captain Jonito Pastrana, who was also reassigned to BCPO.

Ofalia occupied the post of Captain Edward Bolivar of Police Station 7. Bolivar was reassigned to BCPO.

Mercado was assigned to Police Station 8 and replaced the post of Captain Glenn Montaño, who was reassigned to BCPO.

Aliño said the new station commanders already completed their investigation courses and it’s one of the requirements to handle a police station.

He said it’s a minor reshuffling and he will also review the non-performing officers to determine if they need to be transferred to other offices or units.

“We have a monthly performance rating so that we can determine the performing and non-performing police non-commissioned officers (PNCOs) here,” he added.
