A 58-YEAR-OLD man died, while his 4-year-old daughter got wounded after they were shot by a lone gunman who was riding a motorcycle in Barangay Obojan, Inabanga town, Bohol at 4:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
The victim was identified as Alexander dela Torre.
Police Chief Master Sergeant Jose Michelle of Inabangga Police Station told SunStar Cebu that Dela Torre was waylaid by the gunman while onboard a motorcycle with his wife and their four-year-old child on their way to church.
Dela Torre reportedly pulled over upon the request of his wife when the culprit arrived and shot the victim, who succumbed to gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body.
His daughter was also hit in the buttock and the bullet exited on her leg.
The attacker fled after the incident.
The police are still establishing the motive of the incident.
It was learned that the victim was previously accused of murder. (BBT, TPT)
