Children love to explore the world of arts

SEVERAL children in Bacolod City explored the world of arts by participating in the Cuenca Art Workshop held at SM City Bacolod recently.

Artist Sugar Cuenca Tobongbanua and her team held an art workshop to teach children how to draw and paint.

The children showed their love for the arts where they started to do their sketch until they finished their art piece.

The parents were also seen how they supported their children's love for the arts even the bad weather could not stop them from going to the children's art workshop.

Despite the heavy rains, children with their parents came to the Art worshop to learn how to do the sketching, drawing and painting their own choice of subject.

It was a heart warming to see these children learn a skill in the arts. It can be a good pastime for them. Even in school or in their homes, they can start honing their skills once they learn the basics.

As artists, they want to impart what they have learned to the children. She said they have also experienced what the children had as first timers and new comers. Actually there is no age limit when it comes to arts. A lot of people love the arts.

Teacher Sugar was joined by fellow teachers Zia, Rena, Anthony and staff Shela. She also extended her thanks to Kristine Alvarez, May V. Castro and Deborne Causing Salcedo, among others.

She congratulated the children who completed the Art workshop. It was really great feeling to see the children unleash their Art appreciation. Their craft is filled with colors, meaning and fun.
