CITY OF SAN FERNANDO —The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) hosted a two-day Diskwento Caravan
here in a bid to provide reasonably-priced quality products to consumers.
The event, in partnership with the city government of Mabalacat, was held at the Mabalacat City Hall in Barangay Tabun.
Some 20 exhibitors participated in the caravan where agricultural products and basic and prime commodities were sold directly to consumers.
The Diskwento Caravan is a DTI initiative in partnership with the manufacturers and distributors of basic necessities and prime commodities.
The project is aimed to provide reasonably-priced quality products to consumers.
These food products are priced lower than their suggested retail prices.
The products sometimes are sold in packs, which provides savings to consumers.
As rolling stores, producers and manufacturers can sell agricultural and manufactured basic and prime commodities directly to consumers.
