A GRADE 11 student who allegedly attempted to jump from the rooftop of an eight-story building on F. Ramos Extension corner Escario Street, Barangay Capitol Site, Cebu City escaped death after being rescued by the security guard at noon on Friday, June 2, 2023.
According to a building employee who refused to be identified, the student, whose name is withheld, was crying as he made his way to the rooftop, which indicates that he has a problem.
They were just surprised when somebody had announced that someone would try to jump from the building.
The security guard only identified as Osorno quickly went up and tried to ask the boy to come down but he didn't care.
Osorno and his coworkers immediately grabbed the victim as soon as he turned to see beneath the building.
The student was turned over to his teachers and guidance counselor for a stress debriefing. (AYB, TPT)
