IBP Cebu City commends LTO 7 Caindec for its leadership, support to the organization

The Integrated Bar of the Philippine Cebu City Chapter (IBP-CCC) has passed a resolution commending the Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 for its strong and all-out support to all legal, developmental, humanitarian, and allied services and initiatives of the organization in the Queen City of the South.

The chapter also extends its sincerest and profound gratitude to LTO 7 Regional Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec for making the partnership possible.

IBP-CCC Resolution No. 10 Series of 2023 which was unanimously signed and approved by its board of officers dated March 31, 2023, and was recently received by RD Caindec.

The said resolution came after IBP-CCC received numerous awards and recognition for the recently concluded 20th Founding Anniversary of the IBP Philippines and the 19th National Convention of Lawyers this year.

"LTO Region VII strongly supported IBP Cebu City's City-wide Legal Aid Caravan and City Hall at Your Doorsteps and Voter Registration Caravans," read the said resolution.

The organization also stressed that amidst the challenges of having limited funds for its goal of extending its services to the public, the forging of meaningful and sustainable partnerships between LTO 7 and IBP-CCC made the 82 caravans in 2 provinces, 3 cities, 6 municipalities, 57 barangays, and 2 island barangays possible.

"The aforesaid partnership paved the way for LTO Region VII to work closely with the IBP Cebu City and participate in the meaningfully conceptualized and outstanding legal developmental, humanitarian, and allied services," read a portion of the said resolution.

LTO 7 through IBP-CCC's caravans extended its services such as the E-Patrol service, responsible motorist lectures, ride safety seminar, and the LTO Malasakit Center and Helpdesk.

RD Caindec in his statement also expressed his gratitude to IBP-CCC for being one of the key partners of the agency in its campaign towards road safety and driver's education.

"We are thankful to the 25th Board of Officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Cebu City Chapter for giving us the chance to partner with them in our campaign in protecting both our motorists and the public," said the director.

LTO 7 through its Driver's Education Center is set to reach its 30,000 mark of giving free Theoretical Driving Certificates (TDCs) this year.

He added that LTO 7 will continue its partnerships with the private sector and further strengthen its collaboration with the local government units in expanding its programs and services.

"Partnerships like this help us expand our programs, especially in the areas where people need it the most. The success of LTO 7's programs and services rely entirely on partnerships and coordination," said RD Caindec.

IBP-CCC is set to induct its new officers and directors today, June 2, and will be honoring new lawyers and conduct the formal turn-over ceremonies at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu in Cebu City. (PR)
