THE provincial government extended assistance to the victims of a tornado in Barangay Bantayan, Kabankalan City.
A total of 14 houses were damaged by the tornado last May 17.
The families with partially damaged houses received P5,000 each, while P10,000 was given to victims with totally damaged houses.
Food packs and other goods were also distributed to the affected families.
The distribution was led by Sixth District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola, together with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWDO) personnel.*
