SHANGRI-LA Mactan is thrilled to participate in this year’s Cebu Food and Wine Festival with its curated menus at Acqua and Cowrie Cove. The luxe resort’s master chefs will be collaborating with exemplary guest chefs, for a two-night showcase of exquisite food pairings for interested diners. Traditional and modern cooking concepts will be the main highlight of the four-hands dinner that is set to produce innovative gastronomic creations.

When east meets west at Acqua

On June 10, diners are invited to indulge in an exclusive five-course menu featuring authentic Italian specialties with Asian Fusion from Acqua’s Italian Chef, Luca D’amora, and Guest Chef, John Buenaventura. The dinner will feature exquisite food and wine pairings such as Seppia 50 su Crema di Nero di Seppia with Borgo San Leo Prosecco, Cured Hamachi Fish with Banfi Le Rime Pinot Grigio IGT, Smoked Wagyu Striploin paired with Banfi Col di Sasso Sangiovese and more. Acqua’s tasteful and luxe interior will be the perfect venue for a night of epicurean delights and camaraderie.

Creations from land and sea at Cowrie Cove

The Cebu Food and Wine Festival aims to showcase Cebu’s incredible culinary masterpieces and one of the highlights is the curated menu by Cowrie Cove’s Chef de Cuisine, Marvin Ampoloquio and Guest Chef, Chef James Antolin on June 11. The four-hands dinner will showcase appetizers like the Tuna Kinilaw paired with Taltrami T Series and Rock Lobster with Wild House

Chenin Blanc. Appetizing main courses such as Pompano Fish Filler and Twice-Cooked Beef Adobo are sure to sate one’s palate.

The set menus at Acqua and Cowrie Cove are priced at P4,500++ per person with limited seating.
