A PATROLMAN who was recently assigned to the Parian Police Station as an additional force received recognition from the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) for arresting a man who allegedly robbed a Swiss national on Monday, June 5, 2023.
Patrolman Vince Cabalquinto received the honor from CCPO Chief Ireneo Dalogdog at a flag-raising ceremony at the CCPO headquarters.
Cabalquinto arrested a certain Joeton Alfon Decierdo, 40, when a Swiss national asked his help.
The victim was shocked to see that his bag, which he had placed on the table, was moved, and that his cellphone, which was worth P10,000, was already missing.
