CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo, director of Police Regional Office III, asked the public to report police officers who are engaging in illegal activities.
The regional police director also urged the public to know and invoke their rights when they are being arrested.
Hidalgo’s plea came after the arrest of seven personnel of Angeles City Police Station 2 for alleged arbitrary detention.
Hidalgo said he also ordered the inspection of all jail facilities of police stations in the region to ensure that the incident is an isolated case.
