A 12-YEAR-OLD resident of Barangay Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu is set to represent the Philippines at the Little Princess of the World 2023 on June 16 to 23, 2023 in Europe, Bulgaria.
Herchelle Hanelle Dy, a student of the Ateneo de Cebu, won the title "Little Princess of the Philippines" as first runner-up on December 15, 2019 at the Insular Life Theater in Alabang.
Dy was also awarded as "Best in Casual," "Aura Ambassador," and International Delegate as Little Princess World of the Philippines.
"This dream was put on hold for some time due to pandemic (2020-2021) and the war within European countries (2022). It has already been three years since it was delayed," her mother Aileen said.
Dy has been into several modeling contests since she was only five years old and had luckily won all of those; “Calendar Girl” - Ms. December, “Kids on Runway” - 2nd runner up, “Bidang Bata” - Best in Talent and Jollibee choice award, and “Cebu Top Model” - Most Glamorous.
Her mother said that Dy is also into singing since she was only six years old and had done a lot of mall shows since then.
"For now she’s having her one-on-one training with her public speaking coaches and for her preparation of her talent from the Music N Motion Academy by coach Leonyl Navarro," Aileen added. (PR)
