SIMPLE Blends and Team CK moved on to the winner-take-all championship game after they bested their respective opponents in the conference finals of the Hoop Nation Arlon Cup Season 2 on June 4, 2023 at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball court.
Simple Blends defeated Team RUS, 66-62, to hoist the East Conference title. Wide-bodied big man Gladz Ygay was a force inside as he tallied 15 points and three rebounds to power Simple Blends to the victory and remain undefeated in this entire tournament.
Former Cebu Institute of Technology-University standout Floyd Taboada had 17 points and four assists for Team RUS.
In the West, the Team CK of Talisay City easily beat Imperium Event, 77-61, to capture the conference crown. John Elmer Villabrille led the way with a near-double-double of 21 points and eight rebounds.
Simple Blends and Team CK will clash in the finals on June 18 at the same venue. (JNP)
