ANGELES CITY—World Travel Expo, one of the country's largest travel events, is set to kick off its regional expansion with the launch of World Travel Fair Northern Luzon (WTF Northern Luzon).

WTF Northern Luzon the first of a six-series travel events will be held on June 23 to June 25 at SMX Clark.

The event is being organized in partnership with CBC as the co-presenter alongside the Alliance of Travel and Tour Agencies of Pampanga (ATTAP).

The event will bring together more than a hundred of the biggest names in the local and national tourism scene.

The three-day event will allow the visitors to avail of special travel deals and huge discounts from airlines, hotels, and travel and tour packages.

“We have noticed that travel spend is back and many of our cardholders are again travelling. With this, we would like to offer our cardholders the best travel deals so they can maximize the use of their CBC credit cards. Partnering with WTE will certainly enable our cardholders to take advantage of WTE's offerings," RCBC Bankard chief executive officer Arniel Ong said.

“Through our partnership with WTE, our card holders will gain access to the event ahead of the general public and thus, be able to get the best deals ahead of everybody else. They can also gain free entrance to the event and get deals/offers that are exclusive to the CBC Credit Cards,” he added.

Now on in its 7th year, World Travel Expo is a project of Ad Asia Events and is recognized as one of the country's biggest and most well-attended travel shows.

This year it is set to expand with five regional shows culminating in the Manila leg to be held at the new One Ayala Mall Trade Hall in December 8 to 10.

Apart from WTF Northern Luzon the other regional events will be held at SMX Bacolod, Ayala Center Cebu, SMX Davao, and KCC Mall Zamboanga.
