AN EMPLOYEE of a well-known resort in Barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City landed in jail after he allegedly touched the breast of their Korean customer.
The incident occurred past 2 p.m. last Monday, June 26, 2023.
Police Staff Sergeant Geraldine Gevera of the Women and Children’s Protection Desk of Mactan Police Station 2 said a case for acts of lasciviousness has already been filed against the suspect identified as Ivan Reic Ngojo, 24, a resident of Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.
According to Gevera, the 40-year-old Korean woman (real name withheld) checked in at the resort with her husband and two young sons around noon on Monday.
Later at past 2 p.m., as they were swimming at the pool, her two sons asked to accompany them to the restroom to pee, while the suspect was also there.
The victim then decided to go to the lady’s restroom, but the suspect told her “Your Kid, your kid.”
The mother was shocked when she felt the suspect pushing her and squeezing her breast.
The victim shouted for help and the guard responded and arrested the suspect.
Ngojo denied that he fondled the Korean woman's breast.
He said that at that time he was going to change his uniform when he accidentally hit the victim’s chest.
However, Gevera said the suspect eventually admitted committing the mistake in front of her and the victim. (BBT, TPT)
