DA Central Luzon opens P101-M office building

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO —The Department of Agriculture (DA) in Central Luzon inaugurated its new office building at the Diosdado P. Macapagal Government Center the other day.

After a long stay at the Provincial Capitol Compound of Pampanga, the structure will be DA's new and official home.

The building has four floors and a floor area of 5,326.70 square meters built through the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH).

The blessing and ceremonial ribbon cutting was led by Regional Executive Director Crispulo G. Bautista, Jr., Regional Technical Director for Operations and Extension Dr. Eduardo Lapuz, Jr., Regional Technical Director for Research, Regulations, and Integrated Laboratories Division Dr. Arthur Dayrit, Regional Agriculture and Fishery Council Chairman Engr. Francisco Hernandez, Construction Division Chief of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 3 Engr. Florita Dela Cruz, and former Regional Executive Director of DA RFO 3, Dr. Andrew Villacorta, and other officials.

Bautista expressed his gratitude to DPWH Region 3.

He encouraged the department's staff to make the new building an inspiration in delivering quality services to its clients, the farmers.

Some offices of DA Regional Field Office 3 including the Regulatory Division, Feed Chemical Analysis Laboratory, and Regional Soils Laboratory will remain in the Provincial Capitol Compound of Pampanga.
