Mabalacat City donates ambulance to Pampanga police

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The city government of Mabalacat donated an ambulance to the Pampanga Police Office (PPO) during a simple ceremony on Monday at the Provincial Capitol.

The donation was made possible through the request of the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda received the ambulance from Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo.

Pineda later turned over the vehicle Colonel Levi Hope Basilio, director of the Pampanga police.

The vice-governor said the ambulance provided by the City Government of Mabalacat is a great help to the province, especially whenever the police are conducting an operation and there are citizens who need immediate medical attention.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan recently passed an ordinance, Ordinance No. 845, which orders all business establishments, government offices, and agencies, schools, public utility vehicles, public and private institutions in Pampanga to post emergency hotline numbers in times of emergency.

This will ensure the protection and safety of the people.

“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Mayor Garbo dahil sa mabilis niyang pagtalima sa hiling namin ni Governor Dennis Pineda,” Pineda said.
