Walay diskriminasyon sa persons with disabilities (PWDs) sa pagtrabaho.
Kini ang pahimangno ni Department of Employment (Dole 7) Direktor Lilia Estillore sa Dole 7 sa Lunes, Hulyo 11, 2023, labina alang sa tanang pribadong mga korporasyon nga adunay labing menos kapin sa 100 ka mga empleyado.
Kini human giluwatan ni Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma ang Labor Advisory No. 15, Series of 2023 niadtong Lunes, nga nagpahapsay sa pagpalig-on sa katungod sa PWD sa trabahoan.
Giawhag ni Estillore ang tanang mga employer nga idili o likayan ang diskriminasyon batok sa PWD tungod sa pagkabaldado.
“This is in regard to job application, hiring, job training, promotion, compensation or discharge of employees, and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment,” matod ni Estillore.
Si Estillore niingon nga ang mga kompaniya kinahanglan usab nga magdili o maglikay sa diskriminasyon batok sa usa ka kwalipikado nga tawo nga adunay kakulangan.

Matod ni Estillore nga dunay panginahanglan sa employers sa pagseguro sa barrier-free environment nga dunay access o igong kaagian sa public ug private buildings subay sa Batas Pambansa Bilang 344, o “An Act to Enhance the Mobility of Disabled Persons by Requiring Certain Buildings, Institutions, Establishments and Public Utilities to install Facilities and other Devices.”
“We are also reminding the employers that they are duty bound to facilitate persons with disabilities’ access to express lanes in all commercial and government establishments. Or if this not present, there should be priority given to them,” sumala sa direktor.
Sa pakighinabi kang Direktor Maria Elena Arbon sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) niadtong Mayo 16 kalabot sa hisgutanan sa PWD nga mamumuo, siya niingon nga dako og mahimo ang pag-empleyo sa PWD.
