A memorable milestone for Mabalacat City

FINALLY, a permanent structure as the city hall of Mabalacat City, a component city which status was upheld on July 21, 2012 in a plebiscite.

I say it’s the final place for the city hall of Mabalacat as the previous administration never considered having it or had the funds to build it.

So, it took one decisive move by City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo to initiate the construction of a new government center which will host all the offices in one place, a far cry from previous locations –one in Barangay Poblacion, another inside Clark and the third one in Xevera in a building donated by Delfin Lee.

This time, the new government center will stand in a massive concrete building costing some P600 million and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a command center.

The site of the building is on a lot beside SM Hypermarket along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Camachiles.

Other structures to be built on the site will be a dialysis center, wellness center and other beneficial centers all aimed at giving Mabalacat City residents a one-stop shop for their medical needs comparable even to Makati’s.

Mayor Cris always delivers on his promises, almost diametrically opposite that of his predecessor.

He is a visionary and a faithful follower of God’s verses and the pastors’ readings.

So far, all’s well in Mayor Garbo’s administration as proven by the awards obtained such as the Seal of Good Local Governance.

His team of capable officials –CA Frank Madlangbayan, Legal Officer Atty. Francis A. Dimaliwat, Budget Officer Narce Paquia, City Accountant Oscar Deang, Jr., and City Treasurer Marlene Mendiola and other key officials-Rosan S. Paquia, Enp, CPDO head, supported by City Vice Mayor Geld P. Aquino and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, all work in synch to achieve the city government’s objectives, goals and prerogatives.

Of course, the rank-and-file employees also contribute to the city’s advancement.

That is Mabalacat City government today and it will move forward, mightier and stronger than even in the coming days!
