AUTHORITIES killed an alleged gunman of suspended Negros Oriental Third District Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr. during a police operation in Bayawan City on Monday, July 31, 2023.
In a report reaching Camp Crame, the suspect was identified as Alex Manegos Mayagma, the most wanted person in the region.
The report stated that Mayagma engaged policemen in a shootout as they were serving an arrest warrant against him around 10:55 a.m. in Barangay Malabugas, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
Mayagma has four existing arrest warrants for murder that were issued on March 30, May 10 and November 17, 2022.
He also has two arrest warrants for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act and the Commission on Elections gun ban. (SunStar Philippines)
