PAL launches new Mabuhay Lounge at MCIA

PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) opened to the public its brand new Mabuhay Lounge located at the ground level of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA). The blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023.

The 114-seater space showcases amenities including but are not limited to the following: a dining area with a buffet station (the signature PAL Arroz Caldo is not to be missed); a seating area with plush lounging chairs with charging outlets; a VIP shower room; and male, female and PWD restrooms. Wifi connectivity should not be a problem as well.

The new Mabuhay Lounge was designed by Adrian T. Chua Architects and Associates, in collaboration with PAL.

“The new lounge is part of Philippine Airlines’ strong commitment to build up Mactan-Cebu as our fastest growing hub — the heart of a robust network of PAL flights linking Cebu with 19 domestic and regional destinations. The Lounge is a new haven in our Cebu home,” said PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng in his speech.

The Mabuhay Lounge is open to Business Class and Comfort Class passengers and Mabuhay Miles Elite, Premier Elite and Million Miler members. (LQ3 with PR)
