CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The CLTV36 Lingap Foundation, Inc. raised some P140,006 in donations and pledges during a benefit concert last Saturday, August 12, 2023.
The three-hour concert for cause dubbed "Saup-saup talakad kaybat ning albug" is a collective effort to provide support to the communities affected by recent flooding in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, especially delivery riders affected by the calamity brought about by typhoons Egay and Falcon and the habagat.
The concert for a cause was aired live on CLTV36 and Facebook from 5 pm to 7 pm.
It featured local performers and artists, singers, dancers and poets who volunteered for the project.
Viewers and anonymous persons pitched in their contributions during the telethon.
The City of San Fernando Social Welfare and Development Office assured that the assistance reaches the affected individuals and families.
The foundation said it is still accepting donations and pledges for the flood victims.
