CBRT requests quotation for Capitol-owned lot that will be affected by the project’s construction

THE Cebu Bus Rapid Transit’s (CBRT) implementing group has asked the Cebu Provincial Government for a price estimate for the Capitol-owned lot along Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City that will be affected by the project’s ongoing construction.

During their meeting at the Capitol on Monday, August 14, CBRT project manager Engr. Norvin Imbong told Governor Gwendolyn Garcia that once the quotation is complete, this will be sent to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Central Office for appropriate action, according to Sugbo News, Capitol’s online news portal.

The P17 billion CBRT project will have a route from Barangay Bulacao in Cebu City south to Barangay Talamban in the north.

The first phase of the project will cover 2.6 kilometers to three kilometers of a dedicated bus lane from the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) to the Capitol area.(ANV, TPT)
