CDC, locators donate medical devices to locals

CLARK FREEPORT--Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and several locators inside the freeport recently provided assistive and medical devices to residents in the Metro Clark area.

A total of 83 assistive and medical equipment were distributed during the "Wheelchair at Saklay Kaagapay sa Bagong Buhay," event at the Clark Skills and Training Center Auditorium.

The donated items included wheelchairs, sphygmomanometers, nebulizers, oxygen tanks, and crutches.

The donations were received by beneficiaries from Angeles City; Capas, Tarlac; and Candaba, Pampanga.

The initiative, led by the External Affairs Department under Assistant Vice President Rommel Narciso, aims to assist underprivileged individuals in line with the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons (R.A. 10524).

Locators that participated in the initiative include Hilton Clark Sun Valley, Asurion, ICS- Integrated Computer, Inc., iQor Philippines, Inc., DH Philippines Electrical Corp., TRS Phils. Corporation, The Medical City-Clark, and Amertron, Inc.

CDC vowed to continue initiatives on health, education, livelihood, partnerships, and special projects.
