PRODUCTS under the local creative industry took the centerstage during a trade event organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Misamis Oriental held at the activity center of Centrio Ayala Mall.
The MSME One Expo 2023 is an annual event by the DTI-Misamis Oriental in collaboration with the Provincial Micro Small Medium Enterprise Development Council providing a platform for local product displays networking, sharing knowledge and creating vibrant ecosystem for collaboration.
"The expo promises to be a celebration of innovation, talent and entrepreneurship that would undoubtedly leave a lasting impact," DTI-Misamis Oriental Director Almer Masillones said.
The expo also featured booth exhibits and presentations that showcase the exceptional talents and ground-breaking ideas of the local entrepreneurs, from traditional crafts to cutting-edge technological innovations.
"In a world that is constantly evolving, the resilience and ingenuity of micro small and medium enterprises cannot be understated. These enterprises are the backbone of our economy, driving growth, creating employment opportunities, and contributing significantly to the overall development of our region," Masillones said.
True to its theme: "Bridging MSMEs towards the future: Opportunity, Network, Exhibit, Tradition + Technology," this year's MSME One Expo had activities that could help MSMEs connect with industry leaders and learn the latest trends and technologies across different sectors.
"Whether you are an established entrepreneur, an inspiring business owner, a supporter of the arts, or simply an enthusiast, there's something here for everyone to engage with and appreciate," the DTI provincial director said.
The MSME One Expo 2023 ran from September 1 to 3, 2023.
