Ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM) nipagawas sa P3 bilyunes nga pundo alang sa pagpatuman sa Fuel Subsidy Program taliwala sa padayong pagsaka sa presyo sa lana.
Sa usa ka pamahayag niadtong Biyernes, Septiyembre 8, 2023, ang DBM nagkanayon nga makabenepisyo sa pundo ang kapin sa 1.36 milyones ka public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers ug operators nga naapektuhan sa pagsaka sa presyo sa gasolina.
“Transportation is the lifeblood of our economy. Bilin po sa amin ni President Bongbong Marcos na tulungan at huwag pabayaan ang ating mga manggagawa sa transport sector. Kaya naman po sisiguruhin namin na mabibigyan sila ng nararapat na tulong mula sa gobyerno,” matod ni DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman.
Ang DBM nagkanayon nga ang modernized public utility jeepneys (PUJ) ug Utility Vehicle Express (UVE) makadawat og P10,000 matag usa; P6,500 matag usa alang sa tradisyonal nga PUJ ug UVE, public utility buses, minibus, taxi, shuttle services taxi, transport network vehicle services, tourist transport services, school transport services ug filcabs; P1,000 sa traysikol; ug P1,200 alang sa delivery services.
Ang maong pundo ibalhin ngadto sa Department of Transportation, nga maoy moduso niini ngadto sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), ang lead implementing agency sa maong programa.
Ang pag-apod-apod ibase sa master list sa mga eligible beneficiaries nga gi-certify sa LTFRB, Department of Communication Technology, Department of Trade and Industry, ug Department of the Interior and Local Government, ipaagi sa modes of payment, process ug schedule nga giaprobahan sa LTFRB. / TPM sa SunStar Philippines
