THE Facebook page of SMNI News, the media arm of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy's church, The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, was unavailable on Friday, September 15.

As of Friday morning, the URL facebook.com/SMNINews shows “This content isn’t available right now.”

The page had around 2.3 million followers and 960,000 likes earlier in September before it became unavailable.

It is unclear why Facebook had deleted the page.

In August this year, Quiboloy's Facebook page, which had over 1.2 million followers since July 2023 (https://www.facebook.com/ApolloQuiboloy), became inaccessible. His Instagram account with an account @pastoracq has also been made unavailable.

In July, Quiboloy’s account on TikTok was also removed. A few days after the TikTok takedown, YouTube also terminated channels for SMNI News, the SMNI program Laban Kasama Ang Bayan, and Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ in compliance with “applicable US sanctions laws.”

Quiboloy's official YouTube channel was also terminated in June, prompted by a Twitter user's post that raised concerns about Quiboloy's use of the platform despite an active arrest warrant in the United States (US).

The pastor faces charges of "conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion; conspiracy; promotional money laundering."

SMNI and Quiboloy had not issued any statement as of writing.

In previous interviews, the pastor said he is unfazed by the allegations thrown against him.

“Nothing new, pareho pa rin ang mga issues (The issues are still the same),” the pastor said on June 22 during the “Laban" program.

Meanwhile, SMNI host and former National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac) spokesperson Lorraine Badoy, along with fellow Jeffrey Celiz, were the subject of a P2-million damage suit filed by broadcast journalist Atom Araullo on September 11.

Araullo filed a civil lawsuit against the two SMNI hosts over their “baseless accusations” linking him and his family to the communist group. RGL
