A MOTORIST who had gone to a motorcycle repair shop in Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City, Cebu, ended up in the hospital after being assaulted by a man believed to be mentally ill on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 17, 2023.
Gary Guillano, 25, sustained a wound in the neck when he was attacked by the 42-year-old suspect, who used a shard of glass from a broken bottle.
Initial investigation revealed that Guillano was seated in a chair at the repair shop while waiting for the repairman to finish fixing his motorcycle.
At that moment, the suspect approached him and attacked, slashing his neck with the shard of glass.
The suspect was apprehended and taken to the police station for further investigation. / DVG / KAL
