THE BPO industry in Cebu is a large and growing business that has long provided countless opportunities for the majority of Filipinos. It is a wide and open option for those who want to work and advance their careers within the field.

With the rising demand for more BPO workers and the growing interest of the people in the industry, more Filipinos are opting to apply to BPO companies due to the promises of good pay and exclusive benefits.

However, working in the industry is not as easy as it may seem. This noble task of catering to clients' needs and the unwavering dedication in offering consistent quality service requires a certain set of skills that one needs to master and consistently maintain and follow.

If you want to equip and train yourself with the right skills in a short amount of time, Call Center Academy offers a plethora of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) accredited training courses for your desired field in the industry.

Master service

With more than several programs that applicants can choose from, the academy guarantees that students will build their confidence in their skill set as well as improve and hone them.

Engineer Kristelle Lynne P. Ong, the owner and academy's administrator, has long guided the reins of this company to what it has become today: an institution that offers quality courses and ensures that students are fully equipped with the skills needed upon hiring.

"Here at Call Center Academy, we enable our trainees to gain confidence in their skill sets and get hired," she shared.

Providing opportunities

Each course is completed within 300 hours, allowing trainees to hone and enhance their skills within a short amount of time.

Applicants can choose among the following courses: Contact center services for individuals who want to work as call center agents and events management services for those who want to work in the event industry.

The academy also offers various other training programs such as the TESDA-initiated "Tulong Trabaho" Scholarship Program, which is targeted towards OFWs, out-of-school youth, and individuals who aim to expand their capabilities and opportunities at work.

It also offers programming courses for those who have an interest in working on the technological side of the BPO industry, such as application development or sub-programming, creative web design, Java programming, computer system servicing, internet things for individuals who wish to dive into the world of digital marketing, and certified medical coding for medical professionals who want to lend their expertise within the BPO industry.

Call Center Academy's training is rooted in its vision of providing quality training and education to its students so they can quickly adapt to the fast and ever-changing technological industry.

"It is our mission to upskill and retool trainees and to help them cope with the fast-changing technological landscape," shared Ong.

Call Center Academy is located at VEG Building, Gen. Maxilom Ave., Cebu City, beside St. Theresa's College.
