CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Around 200 grams of
illegal drugs suspected to be distributed in Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Central Luzon were seized in Taguig City on Thursday.
The buy-bust operation was conducted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III and National Capital Region, and Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Unit.
The suspected illegal drugs were recovered from three individuals identified as Alejandro Miguel Flores, Jayson Legaspi, and Maricar Gunayan.
The trio were allegedly involved in the bulk distribution of illegal drugs in Metro Manila and parts of Central Luzon.
Suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride amounting to P1.36-million and marked money were recovered by cops during the operation.
The three suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
